Adyen is hiring a Team Lead, Performance Optimization in London to lead a hybrid team of Optimization Managers and Data Analysts. The role combines people leadership, merchant-facing optimization, and data-driven strategy to improve authorization rates, manage risk, reduce costs, and drive scalable automation using tools such as Python, SQL, PySpark, big data platforms, ETL pipelines, and analytics tooling. The ideal candidate has deep experience spanning data analytics/data science and payments, plus a strong background in formal people leadership and stakeholder management.
