Description
ASUS Robotics & AI Center is seeking an experienced Staff Robotics Software Engineer to lead the design and development of software systems for AI and robotics technologies. The role involves establishing modern software engineering best practices, advising domain experts, proactively addressing problems, leading cross-functional teams, writing clean code, and maintaining good attendance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software engineering principles, familiarity with systems programming, proficiency in data structures and algorithms, and strong problem-solving skills. They should also understand software development best practices like coding standards, design patterns, source control, and test automation. Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Go is essential. The position requires flexibility to attend virtual meetings with the Taiwan-based team at least three nights per week and occasional domestic and international travel for collaboration and projects.
