Ebury is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their FinCore Engineering team in Madrid. The role involves developing and optimizing a multi-currency accounting system and foreign currency exchange platform. Responsibilities include contributing to new service iterations, designing components, mentoring junior engineers, leading product initiatives, and taking ownership of developed products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex software systems, preferably Python, with a background in FinTech or banking, strong communication skills in English, proficiency in API construction, monitoring, integration, and ability to manage legacy code. They must also produce high-quality, testable code and participate in an occasional on-call rotation.
