Medical Guardian is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Security Engineer to enhance and refine their enterprise security capabilities within the IT Operations team. This role involves securing various aspects of their technology stack, including cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, applications, endpoints, identity systems, and operational environments. The Senior Security Engineer will collaborate with multiple departments like Infrastructure, Engineering, Compliance, QA, IT Operations, and external security service providers to mitigate risks and facilitate business growth. Key responsibilities encompass designing and implementing secure architecture patterns across diverse cloud environments, enforcing Zero Trust principles, hardening Azure security posture, securing AI and emerging technology platforms, integrating application security into CI/CD pipelines, leading incident response efforts, overseeing vulnerability management, supporting compliance with regulations like HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS, and providing leadership and mentorship in security best practices. This is a hands-on senior engineering role requiring architectural ownership, external partner oversight, and mentoring responsibilities.
