Description
Anaplan is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to help build a next-generation, canvas-based data pipeline platform for visually designing and orchestrating complex data workflows. The role spans backend engine development for pipeline orchestration, transformation, validation, and anomaly detection, as well as building the interactive React-based canvas UI, real-time streaming infrastructure, and end-to-end feature ownership in a fast-moving environment that ships multiple times a day. The position emphasizes strong software engineering experience, deep Java and/or Kotlin expertise, event-driven and real-time systems, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and collaborative technical leadership, with preferred strengths in architecture influence, mentoring, and high-reliability distributed systems.
