SMS is seeking a Network Administrator at Fort Belvoir, VA to support operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. This short-term assignment involves evaluating network components, monitoring and modifying network equipment, and supporting time-sensitive initiatives like problem management and incident resolution. The administrator will also evaluate technologies across five networks, requiring experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto/Juniper SRX firewalls, and ServiceNow. The role adheres to and improves Standard Operating Procedures in a matrixed organization, focusing on internal projects and SLA compliance. This is an onsite work opportunity primarily located at Fort Belvoir, VA, with potential remote work approval.
