Generac, a leading energy technology company, is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to create conceptual designs, detailed machine drawings, and facility layouts. The role involves updating and maintaining AutoCAD layouts, designing innovative manufacturing tools, identifying and implementing solutions for manufacturing issues, collaborating with manufacturing sites, and producing technical documentation. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 1-3 years of experience in designing manufacturing equipment, tooling, and facility layouts. Preferred qualifications include experience in engineering, manufacturing, design, proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD, strong communication and problem-solving skills, familiarity with automation concepts, and knowledge of lean methodologies.
