The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing daily operations within a Logistics Center, specifically supporting field aircraft operations through inventory management, logistics functions, and material handling. This includes processing, shipping, receiving, and testing inventory, acting as a subject matter expert for processes, and overseeing outbound shipping. The coordinator ensures adherence to regulatory standards like FAA, SOX, and DOD, maintains accurate inventory records using Ramco and MRP systems, performs physical inventory counts, and handles data entry and problem-solving within ERP systems. They also collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams, contribute to lean initiatives, and ensure safety compliance.
