Description
Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant Float to obtain quality blood samples and conduct other patient tests. This role involves working in a medical laboratory environment, ensuring specimen accuracy, performing various collection procedures, and contributing to quality metrics. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage anxious patients during sample obtaining. Candidates should have completed secondary school and a Laboratory Assistant training program or a Medical Lab Assistance course with specialized phlebotomy training. A 18-month contract position is available, primarily Monday-Friday, with some Saturday shifts. Bilingualism is an asset, and MLPAO/CSMLS certification is strongly recommended.
