Description
This is an internship opportunity at Deloitte for students currently completing a Bachelor's degree in fields such as IT, Data Science, Commerce/Business, Science, or Law with a major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Statistics. The role involves working with financial auditors to understand client businesses, IT architecture, and risks, developing audit plans, and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls. Interns will collaborate with a project team, internal subject matter experts, and various leaders, gaining exposure to different parts of the organization both nationally and internationally. The internship lasts approximately four months, running from mid-November to early February, with a three-week break during Christmas and New Year. While prior experience is not required, part-time internships in IT, accounting/finance, business analytics, law, or customer service are advantageous. Candidates should possess an analytical and open-minded approach, attention to detail, a passion for emerging technologies and risk frameworks, and an adaptable, resilient attitude. They should also be meticulous with processes, curious to solve problems, and willing to embrace change.
