This role involves managing various aspects of infrastructure, including provisioning servers, configuring networks, and ensuring the reliability of high-frequency, low-latency transactional systems used for ad exchanges. The ideal candidate will be a technology generalist comfortable with diverse tasks such as IAAS provisioning, task automation, performance tuning, and working with virtualized or containerized applications. They should focus on reproducibility, utilize automation tools effectively, and communicate proactively. The position requires working in a self-directed environment, supporting a geographically distributed team, and being willing to take initiative and seek mentorship when needed. The company operates a 24/7 global operation handling real-time bidding for advertisements, aiming to build a highly reliable, flexible, cost-efficient, and scalable platform.
