Watupay is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Analytics Engineer to join their Data Analytics department in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing data engineering foundations, defining best practices, pipeline architecture, and technical standards. They will utilize advanced tools such as Google Cloud Platform, Datastream, and dbt to build scalable data solutions and lead the company's initial expansion into AI, developing internal AI tools and intelligent workflows. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying robust data ingestion pipelines, managing Data Warehouse administration, transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring data quality and security, implementing data governance, supporting architecture evolution, and contributing to AI development and automation.
