Description
This internship at Deloitte involves refining accounting knowledge to solve problems and advise businesses on reducing financial risks. Interns will review NZ IFRS financial statements, assess client controls, report to the Auditor General, consider fraud risks, and assist with sustainability reporting. The program includes a two-day induction, collaborative learning with a cohort of over 150 individuals, and opportunities for mentorship and skill development. It runs from mid-November to early February, offering a break during Christmas/New Year holidays. While prior experience is not required, part-time internships in accounting, finance, customer service, retail, or hospitality are beneficial. Candidates should currently be studying a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, possess an analytical mind, be detail-oriented, passionate about accounting, capable of teamwork, and curious about emerging technologies.
