## Getting Started with Job Posting

Posting a job on Metaintro connects your open roles with millions of active job seekers who use Threads, our conversational AI job search, to find their next opportunity. When you publish a listing, it becomes discoverable through both traditional search and AI-powered matching, ensuring qualified candidates find your roles organically.

To create your first listing, navigate to your employer dashboard and select **Create New Job Post**. You will be guided through a structured form that captures everything candidates need to make an informed decision.

## Crafting an Effective Job Post

### Required Fields

- **Job Title** -- Use a clear, industry-standard title. Avoid internal jargon or inflated titles that may confuse candidates.
- **Description** -- Describe the role, team, and day-to-day responsibilities. Be specific about what success looks like in the first 90 days.
- **Requirements** -- List must-have qualifications separately from nice-to-haves. This helps candidates self-select and improves applicant quality.
- **Location** -- Specify whether the role is on-site, hybrid, or fully remote. If remote, note any geographic or time-zone restrictions.
- **Salary Range** -- Listings with transparent compensation receive significantly more applications. Include the range even if it is broad.
- **Benefits** -- Highlight health coverage, retirement plans, equity, PTO, professional development budgets, and any unique perks.

### Optional Enhancements

- **Team and Culture Context** -- A short paragraph about the hiring manager, team size, and work culture helps candidates picture themselves in the role.
- **Application Questions** -- Add up to five screening questions to filter candidates early and save your hiring team time.
- **Media** -- Upload photos of the office, team events, or a short intro video to bring the listing to life.

## Managing Your Active Listings

Once a job is live, you have full control from the **Jobs** tab in your employer dashboard.

- **Edit** -- Update any field at any time. Changes go live immediately. This is useful for adjusting salary ranges, refining requirements, or adding new benefits.
- **Pause** -- Temporarily hide a listing without losing applicant data. Paused jobs can be reactivated with a single click when you are ready to resume hiring.
- **Close** -- Mark a role as filled or canceled. Closed listings are archived and remain accessible for reference or duplication in the future.
- **Duplicate** -- Copy an existing listing to use as a template for similar roles, saving time on repetitive postings.

## Tracking Views and Applications

The analytics panel on each listing provides real-time data:

- **Views** -- Total impressions your listing has received across search results and AI recommendations.
- **Applications** -- Number of candidates who submitted an application, with a breakdown by source.
- **Conversion Rate** -- The percentage of viewers who applied, helping you gauge listing quality.
- **Candidate Quality Score** -- An AI-generated metric that summarizes how closely applicants match your stated requirements.

Use these insights to iterate on your job descriptions. If views are high but applications are low, consider simplifying the requirements or clarifying compensation.

## Best Practices for Attracting Top Candidates

- **Be transparent about compensation.** Roles with posted salary ranges attract up to three times more applications.
- **Write for the candidate, not the committee.** Use direct language and short paragraphs. Avoid listing 20 requirements when five will do.
- **Update listings regularly.** Fresh posts rank higher in search results and AI recommendations.
- **Respond quickly.** Candidates who receive a response within 48 hours are far more likely to stay engaged in your process.
- **Leverage your company profile.** A complete employer profile with logo, mission statement, and culture details adds credibility and increases click-through rates.

## Boosting Visibility

If you need to fill a role urgently or want broader reach, Metaintro offers promoted listings. Promoted jobs appear higher in search results, are prioritized in Threads recommendations, and display a featured badge. You can enable promotion directly from the listing's analytics panel.
