Moreover, Brew Hoop’s esteemed contributors get to attend NBA games live as credentialed media at Fiserv Forum and on select road trips. A formal journalism background isn't a lock-in. What really puts you through the hoop is your passion for the Bucks, an appetite for quality sports analysis, and yes, a flair for writing. Fancy yourself as a budding sports journalist who happens to moonlight as an NBA meme maestro on Twitter? There might just be a seat at the table for you. Plus, a diverse newsroom is a stronger newsroom, so women and underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. And don’t stress about being camera-ready; you won’t need to draft a four-quarter long cover letter. Just shoot over a writing sample, a resume, and an introductory email to [brewhoop@sbnation.com](mailto:brewhoop@sbnation.com) with “Brew Hoop Staff Application” loftily titled in the subject line. Share how you and the Bucks first crossed paths, and you're golden. Sports journalism, here you come. Who’s to stop you from eventually dribbling past to [ESPN](https://www.espn.com/), The Athletic, Forbes, or even straight into the belly of a pro team? Brew Hoop’s alumni have done exactly that. Brew Hoop may or may not promise a spot on the Bucks’ starting roster, but if writing is your game, this is your ticket to the show.
